CAA Is Reportedly Relabeling To Its New Name Coastal Athletic Association
The Colonial Athletic Association is reportedly relabeling to a new name, now pronounced to be Coastal Athletic Association.
According to ESPN’s Pete Thamel, The Colonial Athletic Association will be operating under its new name Coastal Athletic Association in 2023-2024.
Pete Thamel announced on his Twitter,
“The Colonial Athletic Association is set to change its name to the Coastal Athletic Association. The change comes amid the league’s expanding footprint down the East Coast and a choice to modernize the name.”

The conference runs under the new name but the logo will be the same. The Colonial Athletic Association was founded in 1979. The current members of the Coastal Athletic Association are Campbell, Charleston, Delaware, Drexel, Elon, Hampton, Hofstra, Monmouth, North Carolina A&T State, Northeastern, Stony Brook, Towson, North Carolina Wilmington and William & Mary.
Despite name changes, there are no alterations in rules or any conference members.
