C.J. Stroud’s Rookie Performance Gets a Reaction from JJ Watt
The Houston Texans’ new rookie player C.J. Stroud had an amazing start this year. In his first four NFL games, he hasn’t thrown any interceptions. Recently, he led his team to a victory against the Pittsburgh Steelers with a score of 30-6. In that game, he threw for 306 yards and scored two touchdowns.
During the match, JJ Watt, who used to play for the same team, was there and he was really impressed by the young quarterback’s performance.
“CJ Stroud is playing unbelievable football right now and he’s literally having one of the best starts in history for a rookie quarterback,” Watt said. “He has not thrown an interception yet, he’s playing lights out, and the offensive coordinator is doing a great job of keeping everything simple and keeping the scheme safe,” Watt said.
