Now in the NFL, Stroud is genuinely happy for Young’s success in landing the QB1 position in Carolina. C.J. Stroud said, “Yeah, that’s my brother, man. I’m happy for him, but his situation is his situation and my situation is mine. So, I know I’ve gotta work on my end and do whatever I gotta do to make this team better. It’s not about starter, who’s not the starter. It’s about getting better for Week 1 against Baltimore. So, right now, we’re just building a team. It’s not just about individuals.”

The Texans’ rookie quarterback, Stroud, has been impressing everyone since his early days at the rookie minicamp. However, currently, he’s sharing the first-team practice reps with Davis Mills, the returning starter who has already played in 28 games for the Texans in the last two years.
