C.J. Stroud Can Except Some Big Help In Houston
Houston Texans and C.J. Stroud can be said to be having a rough time but no worries as they might get some help. Brooks Kubena of the Houston Chronicle mentioned that All-Pro wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins has shown his interest in joining the Texans again.
Hopkins was released by the Cardinals last week and went for the open market. Now that the veteran wideout is free, there are many teams that he has to choose from to be a part of.
Texans who are currently featuring Robert Woods, Nico Collins, and John Metchie III, is one of the best options for him, and Hopkins’ joining will certainly give Texans’ receiving corps a boost.
But they also have to consider Hopkins not being fit for the Texans’ timeline. In any case, for Hopkins to rejoin the Texans, he will have to pass up a reunion with his former team.
If this truly happens, then it will be interesting watching Hopkins catch passes from a potential-packed quarterback like Stroud.
Despite missing eight games last season, Hopkins still had 64 receptions for 717 yards and three touchdowns.
