Buffaloes Star WR Travis Hunter Plays Against TCU Amid Bruised Sternum

There were reports that Colorado Buffaloes might have starts the 2023 College Football season without their star wide receiver Travis Hunter amid his bruised sternum.

Former five-star recruit Travis Hunter is suffering from the painful injury. According to the Matt Leinart reporter of Big Noon Kickoff annouced that Hunter is dealing with a bruised sternum. 

In a recent interview with Fox Sports, Colorado’s assistant coach admired Hunter’s caliber on and off field.

Via Fox Sports reports, the assistant coach said, “He is special. He has great tools and a high IQ. He understands the game better than some of the pros that I have coached in the past, and he is still learning the nuances of the game that could help him go to the next level… He’s special.” 

Last year Hunter scored 19 tackles and two interceptions at Jackson State. He also hauled in 18 passes for 190 yards and four touchdowns. Hunter was the 2022 SWAC Freshman of the Year. He played cornerback and wide receiver roll for the Coach Prime team.

20-year-old Travis Hunter plays a major roll in the Colorado Buffaloes. Right now Colorado and TCU battling with other on the ground. In the first quarter The Colorado scored 7-0 against the TCU horned Frogs.
