Bud Light’s NFL Commercial Shifts Focus Amid Dylan Mulvaney Controversy

Bud Light had a tough time in recent months because of their connection with a trans influencer named Dylan Mulvaney. But even with that trouble, they’re still trying to advertise their drink for the 2023 NFL season.

This Thursday morning, Bud Light released a commercial for the first week of the season.

“A day filled with games, a fridge filled with Bud Light, a room filled with family,” Bud Light wrote as its caption. “It’s Easy to Sunday.”

While there’ll be plenty of trolls attacking this promo from Bud Light, there are also NFL players promoting the company’s message.

“No one Sundays like Bay faithful. Almost time for Sunday football and a cooler full of Bud Light,” 49ers tight end George Kittle wrote on social media.

Rashid Shaheed, who plays for the Saints as a wide receiver, shared, “We really appreciate our #Saints fans. Are you excited? We have a season of Sunday football and @budlight coming up.”

A website called Union found out that Bud Light’s sales at bars and restaurants went down by 34 percent in the second part of this year.

If Bud Light wants to make its brand better again, it has to do well in the coming months.
