Buccaneers Reveals The Throwback Uniforms for the 2023 NFL Season

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are bringing back a special uniform that fans have been waiting for over the past 10 years. It’s a throwback to the early days of the team and has a unique orange color with white pants, socks, and a white helmet featuring the “Bucco Bruce” logo.

The team gave everyone a first look at these “Creamsicle” uniforms, and they’re set to debut them on October 15th when they play against the Detroit Lions. 

Brian Ford, the Buccaneers’ Chief Operating Officer, expressed his excitement about celebrating the team’s history and appealing to both longtime fans and new ones.

He said, “Our fans have waited a decade to see our players back in these classic Creamsicle jerseys, and we are excited to celebrate our rich legacy when we debut these one-of-a-kind uniforms on Oct. 15th against the Detroit Lions. As we begin this new era of Buccaneers football, we aim to honor those who have played a vital role in our Club’s journey while also appealing to a new generation of fans who will drive our future success.”

These uniforms were originally worn by the Buccaneers when they joined the NFL in 1976. Although the team didn’t have a lot of success back then, with only two winning seasons until 1997, these throwback uniforms have become highly celebrated in the league. Fans can’t wait to see them in action again!
