Bubba Wallace Playfully Coins Colorful Nickname for 23XI Racing Teammate
Bubba Wallace, a NASCAR driver who races for 23XI Racing, recently shared a playful nickname for his teammate, Tyler Reddick. They are getting ready for the upcoming Grant Park 220 race at the Chicago Street Course.
During a press event before the Ally 400 race, Wallace revealed that he affectionately calls Reddick “Road Course Jesus.” He came up with this name because Reddick is really talented at racing on road courses.
“We’re counting on our friend Road Course Jesus, Reddick, to lead the way for us. We just have to do our best,” said Bubba. “We have a lot of speed, and we need to keep it up. Our main goal is to win because that will secure our place.”

Wallace mentioned that even though the upcoming race is on a street course, not a regular road course, they will still rely on Reddick’s support as the Cup Series moves to Chicago.
When asked about the nickname, Reddick admitted that he didn’t know what to think at first, but he finds it funny and enjoys helping the 23XI team in any way he can.
