Brutally Honest admission from Jimmy Butler about Nikola Jokic Beef
Jimmy Butler and Nikola Jokic are all prepared to lead Denver Nuggets to win the match and get the championship trophy in NBA Finals this week. They were both the best players in the 2023 NBA Playoffs and also shared some awesome moments.
But unfortunately, the amazing duo had a small conflict in last season that ended with Jokic being suspended.
Though it did mark the ending of this conflict here. Butler got some pretty nasty threats from Jokic’s brothers that made Udonis Haslem have some harsh words for the Jokic brothers.
Now it’s a question that now they both are again working together, whether Butler has any dreadful feelings for Jokic. For now, he seems to have forgotten all that happened and is fine with everything.
“I don’t think so,” Butler replied when asked if his past run-in with the Nuggets will influence the Finals in any capacity.
“There’s a lot of stuff about that situation people don’t understand, but that’s in the past,” Butler continued.
“I wasn’t talking to Jokic … that wasn’t my beef. The individual I was talking to knows who I was talking to.”
According to Butler’s statement, he wasn’t talking about Jokic. But if it’s not him then who else can it be? Maybe, Aaron Gordon?
Considering that Jokic’s forceful foul on Markieff Morris ignited the entire situation, it’s not surprising that some individuals would be perplexed by Butler’s recent remark.
Whatever the case is, for now, they seem fine with each other and aren’t showing any hard feelings. But whether it stays the same or not, we’ll see in the next couple of weeks.
