Browns got their hands on PJ Walker To Active Roster
PJ Walker has been moved up from the Browns’ practice squad to their active roster. He played as the starting quarterback against the 49ers on October 15, throwing for 192 yards with two interceptions in a surprising win.
In the last game against the Colts, Walker was initially on the sidelines, but he had to step in when Deshaun Watson got injured. He threw for 178 yards and had an interception in another win.
Considering Watson didn’t talk to the media on Wednesday, there’s a good chance Walker might start for the Browns this Sunday against the Seahawks. ESPN’s Adam Schefter provided some information about Watson’s injury on Tuesday night.

“Doctors told him that he has a strain of the subscapularis within the rotator cuff and he continues to have both pain and weakness with movement,” Schefter said. “This type of injury in baseball normally causes pitchers to miss 4-6 weeks. Watson continues to work to regain strength and velocity in his shoulder and shorten that window.”
The Browns are 4-2 heading into this Sunday’s showdown with the Seahawks.
