LIV Golf rebel Koepka answered honestly, “Very few”
Later he explained,
“False confidence, I think. Other than the Ryder Cup, I think the most pressure you could feel is in a major. Guys should believe in themselves, but everybody else has got to be thinking that they don’t. That’s why I think that way. “
He talked about what should be a golfer’s mindset on the course. He continued,
“You’ve got to be thinking you’re the best player on the golf course, best player on the team, best player at that current time, and if you don’t, there’s something wrong with you.”
Koepka who was a former PGA Tour golfer and signed for the LIV golf in 2018, is one of 12 American stars who will compete against Team Europe at the 44th Ryder Cup.
Previously Koepka has been part of two Ryder Cup-winning squads. Five major championships winner definitely knows how to handle pressure off.
