Bronny James’ Basketball Future Prediction Made By Shareef O’Neal

Bronny James, the rising star in the Basketball world and the son of the most prominent player LeBron James just suffered a huge accident during training and had to be hospitalized. In the news later it came out that he no longer in danger and will be fine after a few days of rest, it was still a question whether he will continue to play basketball or not. 

Following that Shareef O’Neal came out with some predictions about Bronny’s basketball career future. 

When asked by TMZ at an airport, O’Neal said he talked to James, and he’s doing fine. He doesn’t think the health issue will stop the USC freshman from playing basketball.

“Not at all,” O’Neal said. “I don’t think it’ll affect anything.”

Both O’Neal and James have famous NBA dads, and O’Neal understands what James is going through right now. O’Neal had heart surgery five years ago and had to work hard to get back to playing basketball again. He went back to playing for UCLA and LSU colleges, and then he joined the G League Ignite team.

“I want that to be a part of my path,” he told Ignite teammate Eric Mika on the Now for Later podcast last month, via Entertainment Tonight. “Like, ‘He went through this when he was young to kind of alter his path but he made it back to a straight pathway again. I feel like In 20 years I want to be known as that kid who fought back from something that was life-changing and made his dreams come true.”

On July 24, James had a serious heart problem while practicing at USC. He left the hospital three days after that.

Lately, he’s been seen at important events. He went with his dad to a Los Angeles Dodgers game and even walked with Drake during a concert at Crypto.com Arena.

It’s nice to see Bronny doing things outside, but we’re not sure how his basketball future will be, even though O’Neal thinks positively about it.
