Breaking News: Gunshots Fired at Oklahoma High School Football Game, Injuring Four

Something really unexpected happened at a high school football game between Choctaw High School and Del City High School on Friday night. Gunshots were fired, and it left four people hurt.

The police chief of Choctaw, Kelly Marshall, said the injured folks were taken to the hospital to get treated for the gunshot wounds. Sadly, one of the injured people was a student.

Meanwhile, the police chief of Del City, Loyd Berger, said that a police officer who wasn’t on duty fired a gun while at the game. Thankfully, the officer wasn’t hurt.

Berger explained, “One of our officers was involved and discharged his weapon. As far as who or if he hit anything–I really don’t know at this point.”

The TV broadcast from Skordle actually caught the moment when the gunshots happened. When the noise of the shots was heard, the players and coaches quickly ran off the field to stay safe.

The scoreboard shows that the gunshots were fired during the third part of the game.

The police got a description of a man who might be the suspect. But as of Friday night, nobody was arrested for doing this.

Our thoughts are with the people who got hurt during this unexpected shooting at the Oklahoma high school football game on Friday.
