Breaking News: Bryce James May Switch Schools Again! NBA Star’s Son Considering Sherman Oaks Notre Dame
It appears that Bryce James, the 16-year-old son of NBA legend LeBron James, could be on the verge of changing high schools once more.
Last year, Bryce played basketball at Sierra Canyon High School in Los Angeles, where he teamed up with his older brother, Bronny. But recently, it was reported that the 6-foot-6 rising junior was planning to transfer to Campbell Hall in Studio City, Calif., for the upcoming 2023-24 school year.
However, there’s now buzz that Bryce might have second thoughts. According to Eric Sondheimer from the Los Angeles Times, there are rumors circulating that Bryce is exploring the idea of transferring to Sherman Oaks Notre Dame.
Sondheimer reported on Saturday, “The word is that Bryce James has made inquiries about transferring to Sherman Oaks Notre Dame. He’d join another high-profiled player, Mercy Miller. Nothing has been finalized. He was supposed to attend Campbell Hall. We’ll see.”

This potential change of plans might surprise some, especially since ESPN’s Myron Medcalf had previously revealed that the James family had already made a donation earmarked for a new athletic facility at Campbell Hall. So, why the change of heart?
Adding more fuel to the fire, Bryce recently showcased his basketball talents during his summer debut with Campbell Hall, reinforcing his status as a rising star with tons of potential. Now, the question remains – will he make the leap to Sherman Oaks Notre Dame or stick to the original plan?
Sherman Oaks Notre Dame is well-known for its strong sports programs and has produced several successful MLB, NFL, and NBA players over the years, making it an attractive option for any young athlete.
