Booger McFarland Finds New Job After Leaving ‘Monday Night Football’
Booger McFarland, who used to talk about football on ESPN’s “Monday Night Football,” has landed a different job now.
Before, he talked about games and got ready for them on TV. But this season, he won’t be on “Monday Night Football” anymore.
Instead, he’s got a new job at the same TV channel.
Booger McFarland will be on a show about NFL and college football with Herm Edwards. They haven’t given a name to the show yet, according to Andrew Marchand.
Earlier this year, people were saying that McFarland might lose his job at ESPN. But now, he’s still with them. He used to do different things on Mondays, like talking about games on the field, then being in a good spot to watch the games, and later being on TV before the Monday night game. Now, he’s going to be on TV talking about football on Monday afternoons.
As per Pro Football Talk, “Edwards’s name surfaced over the weekend in connection with his most recent coaching job, at Arizona State. The school self-imposed a 2023 postseason ban based on allegations of recruiting violations. Edwards resigned during the 2022 season, and promptly landed back at ESPN.”
People didn’t always like how Booger McFarland and his friends talked about football on “Monday Night Football.” But now, it’s cool to see that he’s got a new job in football.
Right now, college football games are going on in 2023. And the regular NFL games will start next month.
