Bills OT Brandon Shell Planning On Retiring Early At The Age Of 31
Buffalo Bills Offensive Tackle Brandon Shell is planning on retiring from the NFL early at the age of 31.
Brandon Shell, who is the nephew of Pro Football Hall of Fame tackle Art Shell did not appear on Tuesday’s practice. According to the Athletic reporter Joe Buscaglia was told by the sources that Shell, Bills backup tackle intends to retire.

Brandon Shells played seven seasons in the NFL including Jets, Seattle Seahawks, and Miami Dolphins. At last, Shell signed with the Bills back in June.
Brandon Shell was a fifth-round pick of the New York Jets out of South Carolina in 2016. With the New York Jets, Brandon played four seasons. He appeared in 49 games and made 40 starts. He was the team’s primary right tackle from 2017-19.
After that moved to the Seattle Seahawks, where he made 20 starts in 2020-21. He spent last season with the Miami Dolphins, where he again had a sizable role, appearing in 13 games and starting 11.
After Brandon, The Bills have Tommy Doyle and David Quessenberry in line the Bills’ reserve offensive tackles behind starters Dion Dawkins and Spencer Brown.
Right now, Richard Gouraige and Ryan Van Demark are the other two tackles in the Bills program.
Brandon Shell is yet to announce his retirement news officially.
