Big Pokey Bear, Former JUCO Standout, Milton Powell Died At 48
Milton Powell, aka the Big Pokey Bear and former JUCO Football player, suddenly died after collapsing at a bar on Saturday. He was 48 years old.
At that time he was performing a Juneteenth-themed event at the bar. He was taken to the nearby hospital where doctors declared him dead on Sunday.
Milton Powell is mostly recognized for his career as a rapper. Where only a few people know about Milton’s Football career. He was also a Junior college football player for JUCO ball at Blinn.
The Houston-based rapper collapsed while he was performing at a bar in Beaumont. The reason for his death is unknown.
The Rapper’s publicist said -“He was well-loved by his family, his friends, and his loyal fans,”
Powell was a founding member of Screwed Up Click, an influential hip-hop collective of Houston-based artists. His fellow artist used to call him Sensai Rapper.
So many artists like Juice J, Slim Thug, and Lil Flip, from the rapper community have paid tribute to the Late Rapper Big Pokey.
