BGMI THUG Invitational Season 4: Team XSpark won the title and 2.5 Lakh prize money
BGMI THUG Invitational tournament was organized by Villager Esports, which started on 27 January 2022 and concluded on 31st January 2022. Team Xspark won the tournament’s season 4 and took home INR 2.5 Lakh as a prize. The THUG Invitational event included a total of 5 Lakh INR prize pool.
A total of 24 teams took part in the tournament which was further divided into three groups with each group consisting of 8 teams. Each team completed 16 matches in five days.
Overall Standings of BGMI THUG Invitational Season 4
The crowned team of the tournament, Team Xspark, initiated their journey with disappointment on day 1. But make a comeback on day 3 and surged their figures to acquire the top position. They finished the tournament with 101 kills and 215 points.
Meanwhile, TSM maintained their extraordinary performance in the whole event and placed in the second spot with 89 kills and 196 points. They were followed by Enigma Gaming in third place with 103 kills and 195 points. Udog India grabbed the fourth position and was fantastic throughout the tournament which helped them to attain 171 points. Orangutan Esports notched fifth place with 84 kills and 170 points.
Team Soul, consisting of new players, also have a great tournament and was remained in the sixth position while Team 8bit finished in the seventh position. Reckoning Esports was impressive on day 1 with the top place on standings but got suspended for day 2 due to a violation of rules.
BGIS 2021 champion Skylightz Gaming witnessed the worst day and finished in 15th place. Team XO who was exceptional in BGIS acquired 10th position with 57 kills and 117 points.
Global Esports and fans’ favorite Velocity Gaming didn’t have a good start and can’t get up from their off-road gameplay.
MVP and Top Fraggers of tournament
The top fraggers of the tournament are:
1) Insane Aadi – 34 kills
2) Soul Goblin – 33 kills
3) Chemin Papanahinmanege – 31 kills
4) TX Gill – 30 kills
Team Insane’s Aadi named MVP of the BGMI THUG Invitational for his top-notch performance, who grabbed 34 kills. Goblin from Team Soul acquired second place in this list with 33 kills.
Prize Pool Distribution
The BGMI THUG Invitational contains a huge prize pool of INR 5 Lakh which was distributed among top teams and players. Here is the distribution list of total prize money:
- Winner – 2,50,000 INR – Team XSpark
- 1st Runners-Up – 1,00,000 INR – TSM
- 2nd Runners-Up – 75,000 INR – Enigma Gaming
- 4th Place – 50,000 INR – UDOG India
- MVP – 50,000 INR – Team Insane Aadi
Apart from this distribution, there was a special bonus award for the MVP of the tournament as he will get a chance to shop sneakers for up to 1.5 Lakh INR with 8bit Thug.
