Monster-catching games that give Twists to the Traditional Pokemon Game

1. TemTem

Crema’s TemTem game is one of the most popular games in the monster-taming genre. This game has changed the traditional way of the pokemon game into the MMO format which provides a lot more options for players’ gameplay styles. Gamers can tame various Temtem from the six airborne archipelagoes while exploring the islands.

Players in the game have to create a powerful team that can stop the Clan Belsoto that is plotting to control all archipelago and rule everyone. Gamers also have to beat different Dojo Leaders and become the ultimate Temtem Tame. To keep the battle fair and skill base this game feature a stamina system and all the battles are 2v2, unlike Pokemon.

Temtem is not currently available for Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch versions and will be released on September 6, 2022. Gamers can still play them on Playstation and PC for now.

2. Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth

Digimon series is loved by almost everyone and the latest addition to this is Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth. Aiba will be investigating virtual criminal activity after being hired by a detective agency.

Players can select the monster they want as their familiar to start their journey and uncover the secret in the maps of Monster Sanctuary. While also learning about the monsters that have taken their roots in the world.

Players can use up to three monsters at a time to fight turn-based battles. Gamers are provided a unique skill tree for every monster that they use to pick different abilities due to Nintendo. Monster Sanctuary can be played on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.

5. Shin Megami Tensei V

ALTUS’s Shin Megami Tensei V is the latest JRPG epic that let players experience the apocalyptic world that has creatures from Myths. This game is quite challenging to complete, unlike the pokemon games that rarely provide players with hard tasks.
