Bengals WR Ja’Marr Chase Doesn’t Think Joe Burrow Should Play Against Rams
Bengals wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase didn’t want quarterback Joe Burrow to play in the upcoming Monday night game against the Rams.
One of the top-ranking NFL franchises, Cincinnati Bengals started with 0-2 so far. The reason could be Bengal’s quarterback Joe Burrow hasn’t fully recuperated from his calf injury.
This is exactly why Ja’Marr Chase wants his star QB Burrow to sit out in the next games between the Bengals and Rams.
On Friday, talking to the reporters, Chase was asked about whether Burrow would play in the Monday night game or not. He didn’t reveal anything about Burrow’s play but laid out his personal opinion.
Chase said,
“I told him back then, don’t play until you’re 100 percent ready to play. I don’t know what he’s doing.”

Not only no. 1 WR Ja’Marr but wide receiver Tyler Boyd is also worried about Burrow and wants him to look out for his health first.
“I know he’s taking it day by day. He looked good to me, he always looks good to me whether he’s hurting or not. But I don’t want him to go out there if he’s not 100 percent. But at the end of the day we gotta go with who we can play with, if it’s not him then I’m sure Jake can lead us to the promise land.”
Earlier this year Burrow had a non-contact calf injury during one of the practice sessions at training camp. Many fans sarcastically offered him their own calves to their beloved quarterback.
For the Bengals, Monday night game is a do-or-die situation and Burrow set his mindset to win a game. Buroow even changed his look for the game.
Let’s see what Monday holds for the Cincinnati Bengals fans.
