Mexican Right Back completes move to FC Barcelona
FC Barcelona has finally turned around the situation with Julian Araujo whom they failed to sign in January. It has been reported by Journalist Fabrizio Romano that the right-back from LA Galaxy is set to complete his move to Catalonia.
It was earlier reported that Barcelona had missed the transfer deadline by 18 seconds due to which the move never materialized. However, it seems like the Catalans have found a way around it.
Sporting director Mateu Alemany earlier spoke about how the club was continuously “working on a solution” for the issue. However, the club executive has now found a solution that suits all parties.
Fabrizio Romano confirms
Fabrizio Romano has tweeted that the player is set to arrive at the club shortly as he signs a three-year deal.
Barcelona Atletic Coach Rafa Marquez told that Araujo will be joining the reserve team for now and then be moved to the first team next season.
Araujo had been on Barca’s mind for a long time now and their perseverance has paid off as the Catalans have achieved the signing.
Welcome to Barcelona, Julian Araujo!
