However, Chapman’s fastest pitch record in MLB history is 105 mph two times first in 2010 against the San Diego Padres and second matched his previous record against the Baltimore in 2016.
Chapman had been a huge help for the Rangers to win over the Rays in the ninth innings. Chapman only needed three pitches to send away Siri from the game and he saved his fastest one for the end.
The Rangers are now 56-39 overall, which is good for first place in the AL West. Chapman is doing his best for this year with a 4-2 record and a 2.10 ERA along with 60 strikeouts in 34 innings.
