Anthony Rizzo of the New York Yankees appears to trade bats for beats as an off-season pastime
Anthony Rizzo of the New York Yankees is a terrific DJ as well as a baseball player. His most recent video, in which he trades his bat for beats and pretends to be a DJ, demonstrates this.
Yankees first baseman Anthony Rizzo was the life of the party, according to a video DJ Dante Deiana posted on social media, as he celebrated his wife Emily Vakos’s win in the New York City Marathon on Sunday.
As he pounded his hands, the three-time MLB All-Star blasted “Where Are You?” by John Summit and Hayla.
Rizzo and Emily Vakos married in Miami, Florida, in 2018. The wedding was attended by celebrities and friends of the couple, including Chicago Cubs manager David Ross and well-known country artist Brett Eldredge. On social media, the pair routinely shares photos and videos of their time together.
Taylor Swift’s “Ready For It?” was chosen by Anthony Rizzo. Rizzo changed his walk-up music to Taylor Swift’s “Ready for It?” and recognized that she is benefiting the economy of every area she visits.
“It’s Taylor Swift’s summer, truly. “She helps the economy in every city she visits,” Rizzo remarked.
Anthony Rizzo’s Major League Baseball career
The Boston Red Sox selected Rizzo in the sixth round of the 2007 MLB draft, and he went on to become one of the team’s best minor-league prospects. He made his Major League Baseball debut in 2011 with the San Diego Padres. He became an All-Star after being traded to the Cubs in 2012, participating in three straight All-Star Games between 2014 and 2016.
Rizzo has also received the Roberto Clemente Award, the Gold Glove Award, the Silver Slugger Award, and a World Series championship with the Cubs in 2016.
