With a spectacular performance of 41 points, 8 assists, and 9 rebounds on 15-of-30 shooting in just 44 minutes against the Celtics, LeBron James has ruled the court since his 38th birthday. But things did not go his way. The NBA confirmed that he was fouled by Jayson Tatum. Anthony Davis scored 16 points and played 34 minutes in the Lakers’ defeat against the Boston Celtics. Unfortunately, James and Davis were ruled out of the team’s matchup with the Brooklyn Nets on Monday night.
Davis was out due to his prolonged foot injury and the fatigue in Boston. James was ruled out due to coach Ham’s concern for the player. With Davis and James ruled out of the game, Rui Hachimaru will move into the team. LeBron and AD’s absence led to Hachimaru’s promotion.
Rui Hachimaru’s promotion
Lakers reporter Mike Trudell of Spectrum SportsNet reported that Rui Hachimaru’s promotion to the starters lineup will be a fresh start for a new team. In his recent tweet, Trudell stated:
”In the absence of both LeBron and AD, Rui Hachimaru will get his first start for the Lakers tonight, via Darvin Ham.”
With James and Davis out, Hachimaru will get a major promotion while playing against the Brooklyn Nets.
Fans showed rage at the Lakers for preparing such a lineup.
Earlier, it was reported that Rui Hachimaru was traded to the Lakers as they wanted him to play along with LeBron and Davis. But it does not seem that way, rather he is expected to be seen alongside Thomas Byrant, Patrick Beverly, Dennis Schroder, and Kevin Durant.
