Angel, 21, who is also a Maryland native waved to the hometown crowd before tossing her first-ever pitch. It is quite a big thing for the NCAA basketball star player Reese to reach new heights at the beginning of her career.
While throwing her first pitch Angel received a standing ovation from the crowd cheering for her. The pitch was a little too high for the Orioles mascot, but overall a good one.
LSU Women’s Basketball wrote on Twitter and shared the video of Reese’s first pitch.
The post captioned, “Bayou Barbie, Baltimore Queen.”
