Amid Aaron Rodgers’ Injury, Everyone Has Same QB For The Jets
The Jets’ star quarterback Aaron Rodgers is out vs the Buffalo Bills game on Monday night after an injury.
The hope of all the Jets fans, Aaron Rodgers only lasted for four offensive snaps. However, with Zach Wilson, the Jets won against the Bills with 22-16.
For the Jets fans, without Rodgers, it wasn’t as exciting as they thought it would be. Reportedly the Jets coach Robert Saleh said in a press conference the team fears Aaron Rodgers has suffered a torn Achilles and “it’s not good.”
Saleh said,
“Concerned with his Achilles. MRI is probably going to confirm what we think is already gonna happen. So, prayers tonight. But, it’s not good.”
This doesn’t sound good at all. The injury might cost Rogers the whole NFL season. However, there is already speculation circling among the fans about who might replace Rodgers this season.
And very unlikely everyone has the same name NFL legendary QB Tom Brady.
ESPN’s Mike Tannenbaum and Jeremy Fowler both mentioned the seven-time Super Bowl champion as an option for Saleh’s squad.
Here’s what I would do now:
— Mike Tannenbaum (@RealTannenbaum) September 12, 2023
– Look into a trade for Matt Stafford or Jameis Winston
– Try to have Matt Ryan and Colt McCoy in the building for a physical
– Call Tom Brady’s agent (very unlikely)
Jets are on a plane in 5 days to play Dallas, I would have a new QB on that trip.
Among quarterback options available for #Jets to potentially add to the room:
— Jeremy Fowler (@JFowlerESPN) September 12, 2023
Carson Wentz
Joe Flacco (former Jet)
Matt Ryan
Nick Foles
Tom Brady (retired)
There is very little hope that former Patriots Brady who just got honored at Gillette Stadium for his amazing NFL career, will ever get out of retirement.
Fans also wanted to call Brady but they knew it would only waste their time.
One fan said, “Nice fantasy about Brady lol.”
Another fan added, “Its going to be Brady I think.”
One fan gave a reality check, “Brady isn’t an option, he’s a minority owner for the Raiders meaning he can’t play for another team.”
Right now the Jets survived the opening season game vs the Bills with quarterback Zach Wilson. He finished Week 1 with 140 passing yards, a touchdown and an interception.
Talking about Aaron Rodgers he might be down but not out. Still, there is hope, and who knows he will be back in the next game.
So all the Jets fans out there don’t just give up on Rodgers yet.
