Alphonso Davies is considered one of the finest left backs in the world. Now at 22, the Canadian plays for Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga and even went on to win the Champions League in his first full season at the club.
For the Bavarians, Davies is an integral part of their defense line. However, he came a long way to achieve the success he has today. The Canadian was part of the Whitecaps reserve team and then went on to represent Vancouver Whitecaps in the MLS. He became one of the hottest prodigies to come out of the MLS as he switched alliances for €10M.

Alphonso Davies spent his early years in a refugee camp in Ghana where he was born. Later moving to Canada at the age of five. His parents were forced to runaway to Liberia in order to escape the civil war.
