Allie Quigley is out for the 2023 WNBA Campaign
Allie Quigley will sit out the 2023 Season
As per Winsidr, Chicago Sky guard Allie Quigley is set to miss the 2023 WNBA season.
It is the massive reshuffling of Chicago’s roster that influenced Quigley to make such a season. It began with the seven-time All-Star Candace Parker’s departure to Las Vegas Aces. Soon after, it was Quigley’s partner in crime, Courtney Vandersloot who decided to put an end to her 12-year run with Sky. The Dou played a key role in winning Chicago their first WNBA title in 2021.
Earlier last week, it was speculated that Vandersloot was close to signing with Seattle. However, her agent, Kagawa-Colas made it clear that she had not decided upon her future yet.
How good has Quigley been?
Despite missing out on the season, the four-time WNBA three-point champion has ruled out the possibility of retiring from the sport. During the 2022 season, Quigley averaged 11.4 points. 2.9 rebounds and assisted 2.5.
During last year’s playoffs, Quigley averaged 9.6 points, 3.1 assists, and 3.1 rebounds per match. Her shooting numbers shine as well with 33.8 from the floor and 31.9% being from the three-point range.
