All Memory Locations in Stray: The Cyberpunk Cat Game
Memories in Stray are actual memories of the robotic drone B-12 that players must acquire, much like other collectibles throughout the game. Memories inform players about the history of the cyberpunk world and what happened to it.
Stray offers several collectibles such as music sheets, energy drinks, notebooks, badges, and so on that must be collected as part of the narrative and serve as prizes for the game’s tasks. Memories are similar to these; the majority of the story relies upon collecting the B-12’s memories.
A stray contains numerous memories that the main character, the cat, must locate. This guide will assist you in locating all of the memories in Stray’s cyberpunk universe.

The Memories are located throughout the cyber world of stray. Players can identify memories by the packets of lights floating around them. Moreover, they need to visit all the areas of this robotic city to find these memories and collect them for the B-12 companion. Here is the list of locations of all memories and how to collect them in Stray:
Slums Memories
The Slums is the first section and the starting point of the Stray in which players can find eight memories. Here are the memories of the Slums:
- Players will come upon an artwork after encountering B-12. A memory will be unlocked after B-12 scans the artwork.
- Players will need to communicate with the Guardian in order to access the second Memory. Find the musician by going down the stairs from the Guardian. Through the alley, continue to walk. Find the Memory in the shape of another artwork by mounting the air conditioners and awnings over the windows.
- Above the Guardian, you’ll find the third Memory. You can ascend the pipes and vents to reach the rooftop. There is a pile of baggage and a dead robot there. That’s the Memory.
- A Memory can be unlocked by climbing the stairs in the bar and interacting with the soup bowl there.
- To get the fifth Memory, descend the steps in front of the Guardian. After that, continue walking until you reach the Super Spirit Power Laundromat. The fifth memory can then be found by looking for the words R.I.P. Humans scrawled on the wall.
- There is a sixth Memory in Momo’s residence. Search for the Back Home 2 video game poster in his bedroom.
- After that, go across the bar to the red door and scratch it until a robot appears. Now, Enter the building, climb the stairs and engage with the Memory represented by the plant on the chair.
- A picture can be purchased to capture the last memories from the Slums. Spend three Energy Drinks in the shop to the Guardian’s right to purchase the Memory.
Rooftops Memories
There are only three Memory collectibles in the Stray Rooftops section for players to discover:
- Get to the rooftop with the glass window by avoiding the Zurks. Find the red neon sign by using the pipe to jump to the following roof. To obtain the first Memory, interact with it.
- Continue playing this chapter of the game until a fence surrounds a bunch of Zurks. Navigate across the barbed-wire fence to the Neco Corporation sign for a Memory.
- After the Rooftops level, there is a third Memory that is related to the plot. After setting up the transceiver and viewing the cutscene, players automatically receive the Memory.
Dead End Memories
On reaching the Dead End section players can unlock three more memories to get a more significant knowledge of the cyber world:
- After leaving the slums with Seamus, turn left at the white car and engage with the metal door there to obtain a Memory.
- Use the little gap in the fence to exit once the cat is launched by the cart ride. Now, you can obtain memory from the dead robot lying there.
- Go downstairs to Doc’s residence to locate him. The third Memory is of the mannequin next to Doc’s seat that has a bucket on its head.
Sewers Memories
In the Sewers, there are only two memories that players can locate:
- Make your way to the spacious hallway after being cut off from Momo. Destroy the Zurk eggs by taking the left path. To find a Memory, enter the pipe, then follow it to a catwalk.
- Zurks will start chasing the cat after making his way further through the sewers and discovering the monstrous eyes. Players will then have to jump from a ledge onto a pipe. Go to the curved part of the pipe and follow that path rather than the pipe itself. To obtain a Memory, enter the newly discovered pipe and deal with the large hole in the room.
Antvillage Memories
Antvillage will also contain two memories that players can attain by following these steps:
- The first memory in Antvillage is a part of the narrative. It will automatically be read by the B-12 when you enter the area and look at the graffiti-covered pod.
- After meeting the Zbaltzar in Antvillage, come down via the ladder to discover a robot dozing off on the couch. Artwork on the wall next to him can be interacted with to reveal a second memory of the Antvillage.
Midtown Memories
Midtown is the next big area after the Slums where players can find seven memories:
- The first memory in Midtown is a part of the narrative when the cat reaches the subway.
- Leave the subway and enter into the hole through the fence. Now turn right and you can find a bookshelf right next to a robot which is your second memory in Midtown.
- Now, after moving through the game, you can find the third memory in the alley behind the nightclub. Climb up to the neon sign using the object there, behind that sign you will find a makeshift bedroom. Interact with that to gain third memory of midtown.
- To collect the fourth memory of midtown, jump into the hair salon via a window. Walking on the couch you will find a crawlspace, go into it, and in the end, you will find a memory.
- After getting the battery from the Neco Corp, the police station will open. Came back to midtown to the police station and go near the sentinel’s picture to locate the fifth memory.
- Enter the store that is next to the barbershop. Go to the back of the store and use the tiles to scale the wall so you can enter the ceiling. The Memory is there, a bundle of wires.
- After players understand that Clementine isn’t waiting in her apartment, the final Memory in Midtown is revealed. Step onto the platform behind the bar, close to the sink, in the nightclub. The pedestal will collapse, revealing the Memory on a little table.
Jail and Control Room Memories
The last two memories can not be found in the areas mentioned above in the article. These memories can be located in the distinctive part of the cyber city:
- Players will find themselves in the prison yard during the prison break. The Memory is slouched against a dumpster beside a dead robot.
- There is no way to miss The Control Room Memory. As soon as the player enters the room, it will be revealed as a part of the narrative.
More information about the world will become available as you collect each Memory in Stray. In addition, it will grant access to the “I Remember!” trophy for individuals who are striving for perfection in Stray.
