Alex Morgan’s Daughter Steals Hearts at 2023 Women’s World Cup, US Soccer Star Shares Photos
Soccer superstar Alex Morgan had a special surprise during the 2023 World Cup in New Zealand – her cute daughter, Charlie, paid her a visit!
On Friday, Alex shared some adorable photos of herself hugging Charlie, and it’s enough to warm anyone’s heart. She wrote a sweet message saying, “She made it, and my heart is full.”
Before the World Cup started, Alex talked about how being a mom has made her feel more balanced. She said via the PEOPLE, “I’m able to give everything to the sport and my teams, but when I go home, I’m not dwelling on whether I had a bad training or bad game. I just have to be a mom, and tend to my child’s needs instead of overanalyzing things.”
Alex loves how her daughter’s presence brings joy, no matter how the game goes. With Charlie around, everything feels good.
She continued, “Plus, whether the game was bad or not when I step off the field and my daughter runs up to me, everything’s good.”
The USWNT will be back in action on Tuesday, facing Portugal. Meanwhile, Alex is still looking for her first goal in the 2023 World Cup.
As the tournament continues, fans will cheer for Alex not just as a talented player, but also as a loving mom who brings inspiration to the sport.
While she competes on the field, Alex looks forward to making beautiful memories with her daughter off the field too.
