Alabama Football is going to sign a new punter for the Crimson Tide from the hometown of Tuscaloosa.

On Wednesday, Tuscaloosa’s new recruit Anderson Green shared a post of him flexing in jersey no. 49 with an oversized chain in a graphic accompanying the Twitter post.

Green wrote in his Twitter post, “Staying home.”

In a recent interview with 247sports, “Playing for Alabama has been a dream for me since I was a little kid.  I’m thankful for this opportunity and chance to continue my athletic and academic journey.”

He further added, “I’m looking forward to playing my senior year in high school and then working on being the best athlete and student that I can be.”

Anderson joined the alma mater with 5 other top athletes including Julian Sayin (QB), Perry Thompson(WR), and Jaylen Mbakwe(ATH). He is the 15th commit in Alabama’s recruiting team.

According to Kohl’s Kicking Camp Green is also ranked no. 25 in the top punter from the class of 2024 for his “dominant performance”. The head coach of Crimson Tide Nick Saban is too impressed by his performance and predicted he will be “heavily monitoring” the hometown punter via Touchdown Alabama.
