After Robert Saleh, Aaron Rodgers Shows Confidence In Zach Wilson

After Jets head coach Robert Saleh, Aaron Rodgers becomes the second person who shows confidence in Zach Wilson.

Aaron Rodgers who appeared on The Pat McAfee Show after his Achilles surgery, talked about a lot of topics from his comeback to Zach Wilson.

When Rodgers was asked on the show about Zach Wilson, the Jets starting quarterback who took his place. Rodgers said he has trust in Wilson and stands by behind him in all the next 16 games and potentially beyond if the Jets make the playoffs.

Rodgers said,

“I’m very confident in Zach and I think he’s confident in himself, which is the most important thing. It was an important offseason for him. It was important for him to get his confidence back and to work on some of those fundamental things.”

“I’m excited for him and I’m really looking forward to getting back into the building.”

Wilson completed 66.7% of his passes for 140 yards, one touchdown, and an interception in relief of Rodgers. He helped lead the Jets to a 22-16 overtime win over the Bills.

Before Rodgers, head coach Saleh already had shown so much trust in Zach Wilson. Saleh made Zach the Jets’ No. 1 quarterback for the entire season.

Even when the whole nation suggested a different QB option far better than Wilson.
