After Criticism USWNT Players Sing Along National Anthem In Wednesday Game
The USWNT learned its lesson after receiving so much criticism across the country for less involvement in the National Anthem song in last Friday’s match.
The video of the USWNt players went viral when most of the players were silent during the “Star Spangled Banner” national anthem of the USA.
Well looks like this time players don’t want to mess with the fans ‘ feelings for the Country’s National Anthem. They all look much more involved in the national anthem before today’s match with the Netherlands.
Fox Soccer tweeted the video of players singing along with the National Anthem, “IT NEVER GETS OLD HEARING THE NATIONAL ANTHEM AT THE FIFA WOMEN’S WORLD CUP,”

In the video, players showed their respect and were more focused while singing the Star Spangled Banner on Wednesday nights.
Talking about a previous incident Naomi Girma, who is making her World Cup debut said,
“I think when we’re out there, we’re preparing for the game. And that isn’t the focus. Ultimately, every player has a choice. I think that’s what I would say.”
Right now USWNT and the Netherlands playing their World Cup game at Wellington’s Regional Stadium in New Zealand, and both scored a 1-1 goal. You can watch the live match on Fox TV.
