After Clemson Lost To Duke, Joel Klatt Has Brutal Opinion On HC Dabo Swinney

Fox’s analyst Joel Klatt gave his brutal opinion on Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney after Clemson Tigers lost to Duke Blue Devils.

Week 1 of the College football didnt go well for the Tigers, crushed by Blue Devils. On Monday night, a preseason ranking of No. 9 in AP’s Top 25 Clemson was defeated by Duke with th 28-7 score.

Fox’s analyst Joel Klatt gave his brutal but honest opinion on the Tigers’ week 1 loss. According to Joel Klatt  Clemson may be no longer be among the elite teams in college football. He said,

“I think Clemson has a clear personnel issue. That may be the fact that (head coach Dabo Swinney) has not adjusted or adapted as it relates to staff. And I commend him for that. Those men got him to the mountaintop, and he kept them there for a long time. But the fact remains they were not recruiting at the same level.”

Klatt believes, “Their personnel on the field right now is not where it needs to be.”

Klatt shared his views on his College Football podcast “Joel Klatt’s Show”, which was posted on his X Twitter. Klatt wrote, “I think it’s clear, painfully, that Clemson has both failed to adapt on and off the field.”

Tigers have some big upcoming gaming this month including  FAU, Florida State, and Syracuse that game will sure tell whether Klatt was right about Clemson’s being not elite anymore or not.

Clemson Tigers will face Charleston Southern in its home opener on Saturday.
