Adam Sandler’s Message For Real-Life Happy Gilmore
Adam Sandler has a message for his real-life nemesis Happy Gilmore who committed to Ball State University this week. Adams played a character with the same name in one of his movies.
American Comedian Adam Sandler did a comedy movie named ‘Happy Gilmore’ in 1996, in which a hockey player became one of the best Golfers. ‘Happy Gilmore’ counts as one of the best hit comedy movies of the Sandler.
As it turns out there is an actual Happy Gilmore out here and he just committed to Ball State University, Muncie. Gilmore wrote on his Twitter heartfelt message for his university, coach and family, and everyone who pushes him to move ahead in his career.
“I am very excited to announce that I have committed to continue my academic and golf career at Ball State University. I am very grateful for the opportunity Coach Fleck has given me! I would like to thank my family, my friends and coaches who push me everyday!”
After a few hours of this real-life Gilmore announcement, Adam posted a tweet just to let Real Happy know that this reel-life happy rooting for him.
Sandler posted a short message that said, “Go get em Happy, Pulling for you.”
According to Gilmore’s website ‘Happy’ isn’t his first name. Gilmore started to play golf at the age of 9 when a heckler called him ‘Happy’ and that’s how he got his name Happy Gilmore. Gilmore shot 66 at the U.S. Junior Amateur qualifier but hasn’t signed any NIL deal with any club.
Hope this Name, Happy Gilmore will bring some luck for this young golfer.
