Rumors about Jon Rahm joining LIV Golf are spreading by the day. Despite the fact that no formal announcement has been made, a growing number of well-connected individuals in the golf world are suggesting that the transfer will place. It is also said that Rahm has $600,000,000 to sign.

On Wednesday, November 22, famous golf instructor and statistician Lou Stagner said on X (previously Twitter) that he had “heard” Jon Rahm had been offered $600 million in return for a move to LIV Golf. Stagner made no mention of his source’s name.

Bunkered reported hours earlier that Jon Rahm is in discussions with LIV Golf, claiming “a well-placed source” whose name was not revealed. Bunkered also contended that the transfer is not imminent despite continuing conversations.

If the $600 million payout to Jon Rahm to join LIV Golf is verified, it will be the tour’s largest payment to a player. It would considerably outweigh Phil Mickelson’s estimated $200 million in 2022.

The price given to Jon Rahm would be equal to what Tiger Woods was reportedly paid to join LIV Golf in its maiden season. The media stated at the time that Woods had received bids ranging from $700 million to $800 million.

The player and LIV Golf have yet to mention a possible signing of Jon Rahm. There has yet to be any mention of proposals or current talks.
