Aaron Rodgers Supports Novak Djokovic’s Stand for Not Being Vaccinated at U.S. Open
In 2021, Aaron Rodgers created confusion about whether he’d gotten a COVID-19 vaccine. He said he was “immunized,” but later we found out he hadn’t received it. Fast forward two years, and Rodgers is showing respect for another famous athlete who also chose not to get vaccinated.
Recently, Rodgers was at the U.S. Open when Novak Djokovic reached the Round of 16. Djokovic hadn’t played in the U.S. Open for two years because he didn’t want to get vaccinated. During this event, Rodgers openly shared his thoughts.
While Djokovic and Rodgers were in the audience, Rodgers did something noteworthy. He crossed out a “Moderna” ad at Arthur Ashe Stadium. He even wrote that he checked a bucket list wish by watching Djokovic playing. He wrote, “Bucket list ✅ being able to witness the greatness of @djokernole in person at #arthurashestadium.”
Djokovic is gearing up for the U.S. Open quarterfinals on Tuesday, where he’ll compete against Taylor Fritz.
Could we see Rodgers and his Jets teammates in the quarterfinals on Tuesday too?
