Ramsdale wants to become a club legend at Arsenal

Aaron Ramsdale arrived at the Emirates from Sheffield United for £30 million ($36m) in the summer of 2021. He hit the ground running as he replaced Bernd Leno to be the undisputed man between the sticks. His brilliance has inspired Arsenal to put up a Premier league title challenge.

Ramsdale has been the kind of keeper Arteta demanded, not only a good shot-stopper ball but a great ball playing keeper. The 24-year-old England International hopes to add onto the accolades and stay at Arsenal for as long as possible.

Aaron Ramsdale saves Arsenal

Aaron Ramsdale won the best goalkeeper award at the Football London awards.  In the ceremony, he made a bold statement about his future at Arsenal.

What did Ramsdale have to say?

“It was a difficult period moving club to club, even before that going on loan, I never imagined leaving Bournemouth after a year, I never imagined leaving Sheffield United after a year.

“But this is a place now where I can see myself in 10, 12, 15 years. That’s the aim, that’s the goal, that’s the aim to stay at the top for that amount of time.

“Hopefully, I’ll never have to leave and I’ll become a real hero and legend at this football club.”
