Aaron Donald’s bio confused many former NFL defensive linemen for the Rams
Aaron Donald has reportedly thought about his retirement after the 2021 NFL season. He had a hand in the winning of the Super Bowl last season for the Los Angeles Rams. He has been the defensive player of the year three times.
On Sunday, after the 2022 NFL season, the player made a surreal change to his Twitter bio. It called him a “former NFL D-linemen for the Rams.”
Later, he quickly changed it to “NFL D Linemen for the Rams,” removing “former” from the bio.
This became a hot topic for the fans, and there were rumors regarding this change in his Twitter bio. Some fans conjectured about what would be Donald’s next move. There were rumors that he would retire or that his gaming career was over. Some thought that the word “former” denoted his interest in playing with a different team.
Donald has spent his entire career playing with the Rams. There is no reason for him to leave the team as he is getting along well with them. Also, he has not been reported as seeking to join a new team.
Besides, Donald is still under contract with the Rams, and there is no scope for him to get traded.
Amid all the rumors and assumptions, the player seemed to make things clear.
Aaron Donald, in his response to his former teammate Chris Long, who said that he believed that Donald would play in 2023, tweeted:
“Tell ’em C “Lo yeah, I’m playn [sic]; I never said I wasn’t.”
