A Major Heel Turn in WWE, Possible Feuds for SummerSlam 2023

On April 3, 2023, episode of Raw After Mania, WWE Universe witnessed the heel turn of The Beast Incarnate Brock Lesnar when he F5’d Cody Rhodes before their tag-team match against the team of The Tribal Chief ‘Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa. Lesnar continued the assault on Cody when he attacked him with the steel chair and again hit the F5 but this time on steel steps inside the ring.
It is being reported backstage that the reason behind brock attacking cody was the beginning of the storyline for their feud set-up in future PPV.
Possible Matches at SummerSlam 2023
The SummerSlam is the Biggest Event of Summers in WWE and it takes place in August every year. This year, SummerSlam is going to take place inside Ford Field, Detroit, Michigan on August 5, 2023. At Summerslam, both Raw and Smackdown’s top wrestlers battle inside the ring for the Championships and to settle their rivalry record.
The first predicted match for SummerSlam 2023 is John Cena v/s Logan Paul
According to the backstage report, this match was the original plan for logan paul at wrestlemania 39 but later got changed. And, we saw both logan and cena faced a loss at wrestlemania 39 in their respective matches. WWE Officials still have this match on for future ppv and it is expected that it can take place at SummerSlam 2023.
2. Roman Reigns vs The Rock
Roman Reigns defeated Cody Rhodes in the main event match of WrestleMania 39. But, the tale of Bloodline member’s The Usos was different as they lost their Undisputed WWE Tag-Team Championship titles to the team of Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn. And, we saw last night on Monday Night Raw that Paul Heyman asked Usos to leave as their services no longer required tonight.
It is being expected that due to the loss, Reigns will try to corner The Usos from his bloodline stable. And that will lead forward to Reign’s cousin brother and Former WWE Champion The Rock to return and challenge him for the match of the lifetime. Their match will be under a stipulation of Career vs Titles match where Rock will put his career on the line and Reigns will put his Undisputed WWE Universal Championship titles on the line.
3. Randy Orton vs Riddle
We saw the return of riddle on Raw after Mania when the miz was addressing the WWE Universe, Riddle interfered in with his return. Later, WWE officials have announced on their twitter that Riddle will go one on one with Miz next week on Raw.
It is being reported backstage that Randy Orton will return next week on Raw and cost riddle the match and will challenge him for a match.
4. Bobby Lashley vs Omos
On Wrestlemania 39, Omos faced a loss at the hands of Brock Lesnar in a quick match and that caused him frustation as seen on Raw last night. On the other hand, Bobby Lashley was upset for not having a match at wrestlemania 39. According to sources, MVP will challenge Lashley on the behalf of Omos for a fight and it will lead to their feud build up for SummerSlam fight.
