5 WWE Superstars Who Became Successful Hollywood Stars

WWE and Hollywood have a very old and special bond. There are current Hollywood Stars who were professional wrestlers and there are current wrestlers who were in Hollywood before. In this article, we are going to discuss those Hollywood superstars who were professional wrestlers. When it comes to Hollywood in today’s times, the list can’t be completed without Dwayne Johnson and Hollywood Hulk Hogan.

Dwayne The Rock Johnson

Dwayne Johnson (aka, The Rock) is a popular and successful star in Hollywood. He has made his appearance in top films like Fast & Furious, Jumanji, Adventure Island, and Black Adam. These are just a few names of his top films. DJ started his Hollywood career in the late 90s through tv shows and at that time he has associated with WWE also. But, he decided to move to Hollywood full-time in 2010 and continued wrestling part-time in WWE.

Hollywood Hulk Hogan

Terry Gene Bollea (aka, Hulk Hogan) was a full-time wrestler in WWF/WWE. He is a two-time WWE Hall of Famer also. But, do you know that he has done some blockbuster Hollywood movies? Some of them are Rocky 3 (1982), Suburban Commando (1991), Mr. Nanny (1993), Santa with Muscles (1996), and 3 Ninjas: High Noon at Mega Mountain (1998). He later started a gimmick in WWE named Hollywood Hogan.

John Cena

John Felix Anthony Cena (aka, John Cena) is a part-time WWE Superstar and Hollywood Superstar. His upcoming film is Fast X (the 10th movie in the Fast & Furious Franchise). He is set to battle Austin Theory (WWE US Champion) for his title at WrestleMania 39 first night on April 1, 2023. His famous Hollywood films are 12 Rounds (2009), Legendary (2010), Fred The Movie (2010), and Transformers spin-off prequel (2015). Dave Bautista

David Michael Bautista Jr. (aka, Batista) is a former World Heavyweight Champion. He is currently busy shooting for his upcoming film in Hollywood. Guardians of The Galaxy Volume 3, and Dune part 2. Some of Batista’s famous Hollywood films are Avengers Endgame, Escape Plan, Thor: Love and Thunder, and Guardian of The Galaxy series.

Ronda Rousey

Ronda Jean Rousey (aka, Ronda Rousey) was a former MMA Fighter. She is currently signed with WWE and performs under their blue brand ‘Friday Night Smackdown’. She is also associated with Hollywood where she has made her special appearances in top movies like Fast & Furious 7. She is currently busy with WWE where she is set to team up with her tag-team partner ‘Shayna Baszler’ to battle in a WrestleMania 39 Showcase Fatal-4 way battle royal to determine the No.1 Contender for Women’s Tag-Team Championship.
