‘4-Star Kid With A 5-Star Name’ Arch Manning Being Called By A New Title
Texas quarterback Arch Manning has been in a lot of hype for the past few years a lot of it is due to the fact that he belongs to a family with a lot of history in football.
During a show called “Straight Fire with Jason McIntyre,” a well-known personality in the football world, Brad Powers, said that Manning is like a really good player with a famous name in football. He compared it to a four-star rating with a five-star name.
“To be determined,” Powers said. “Not everyone can come in and be the second coming right away. Let’s give him a year. Let’s wait until his sophomore season, I know nobody has any patience anymore. The hot take is this: I think he was a four-star kid with a five-star last name. If you want the sound bite, there you go.”

Powers then said that Manning may not be the backup quarterback for Texas this season.
“I’m not even sure he’s second-string. Maalik Murphy would go in next after Quinn Ewers.”
Quinn Ewers is definitely the main player in the Longhorns team, and that makes sense. He showed how good he is during the spring games.
But, saying things about Manning even before he plays his first real game for Texas sounds pretty brave. We’ll soon find out if it was a good choice or not.
