2 NBA Teams Are Interested in getting Their hands On Damian Lillard Following Heat Exit Trade Rumors
Damian Lillard, an American basketball player just shocked everyone in the NBA by demanding a trade from the Portland Trail Blazers, and according to all the rumors, he already has a team that he wants to join.
Lillard made clear to everyone about his demand trade and the only team he wanna join is the Miami Heat. Following the demand, The Blazers also made their asking price for Lillard clear, but Pat Riley refused to bite. He only wanted Lillard on his terms, not theirs.
Miami also seems to have an upper hand in this trade and in the end Portland would give in and trade Lillard to his preferred destination regardless of what they got back.
The Blazers had different plans. They are now exploring other potential squads for Lillard, despite his preference.
According to Jake Fischer of Yahoo Sports, the Chicago Bulls and Toronto Raptors are “the two possible destinations for Lillard discussed most by league figures.”
Woj also says Miami have not been involved in these talks.

But according to new rumors, there was another team interested in Lillard. For some reason, The Los Angeles Lakers, who have been linked to Lillard in the past, weren’t mentioned as potential suitors this time around.
It is worth noting that the Heat hasn’t had substantive trade talks with Portland regarding Lillard in a while.
“While a collection of NBA personnel expect Portland to engage Miami before finalizing something with another suitor, the Heat have not factored primarily in the Blazers’ recent dialogue surrounding Lillard,” league sources told Fischer.
This lines up with a recent report from Chris Haynes of Bleacher Report, who mentioned that “the Blazers are not open to discussing a trade with the Heat.”
ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski has also pointed out that the Heat have not been involved in any trade discussions with the Blazers concerning Lillard.
Anything happens in the end and no one is sure about the end result. The Blazers also seem to holding steady in their position right now so it’s still not certain they will trade Lillard.
Let’s wait and see if Lillard gets what he wants or not.
