2 Key Lions Players Are Officially Been Placed On Injured Reserve
The NFL 2023-24 season has just started and the Detroit Lions have already bad news for their fans. In these times the series has just started, and it’s compulsory for every player to stay healthy and be on their best form and avoid getting injured.
According to recent news from the Lions, it confirmed they placed two of their key players on Injured Reserve on Tuesday.
It’s safety C.J. Gardner-Johnson and defensive end James Houston who got injured and aren’t able to play for a while.

Johnson signed with the Lions this summer for a one-year contract, and he’s been a positive presence both in the locker room and on the field. He was already making an impact before he got hurt with a torn pec during the Week 2 game against the Seattle Seahawks.
Houston, on the other hand, got injured and fractured his ankle. He is also in the Week 2 game against the Seahawks. He’s a 24-year-old linebacker in his second season with the Lions. He’ll be out for the next 6-8 weeks due to the injury.
Next week, the Lions will be playing against the Atlanta Falcons in Week 3. Hope both of them recover soon and we get to see them play again.
