$10K On Stake For This Year Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Contest Winner

This year 2023 Nathan’s Hot Dog event will happen in Coney Island on Tuesday the 4th of July doubling the excitement.
Last year’s legend Joey Chestnut gulped 76 record-breaking Hot Dogs and became the winner of Nathan’s Hot Dog competition. chestnut is one of the favorites and is ready to win this year’s contest too. Miki Sudo was the winner of the woman Nathan hot dog competition with 40 hot dogs in just 10 min.
So How much is the prize money put on stake for the winner for finishing the most number hot dog in just 10 minutes?
According to the reports, the winner get $10,000 and the first runner-up will have $5,000.
Newsweek wrote, “The tournament is split into two categories, male and female, and eaters are given 10 minutes to scarf down as many franks and buns as they can. Winners of the historic contest receive cash prizes, with the top eater earning $10,000. The second-place prize is $5,000 and third is $2,500,”
The Competition is separated for both men and women and split into two categories. The prize money is not even close to what the other athletes earn in the USA.
Still, it’s fun to watch all those devour hot dogs one by one.
