According to Islam Makhachev, Chandler will retire

Michael Chandler, better known by his supporters as Iron, is an American professional mixed martial artist. He has been competing continuously since 2009. and now he’s scheduled to square off against Conor McGregor. At the end of The Ultimate Fighter season 31, the two will square off. Everyone is anticipating the upcoming battle. However, Islam Makhachev has different thoughts.

Islam Makhachev claimed Chandler would retire after a McGregor victory 

 In his recent interview Islam Makhachev stated “It’s a good fight for the MMA fans, but if Chandler wins, he’s going to retire for sure,” he continued “Make some good money and that’s it. Chandler, so smart guy because I saw his last couple of fights. He fights crazy like he comes from the street. Now I understand why he did this. If he beats  Poirier and Gaethje, this fight never happens. But the last four fights have had same streak, he lost three times, that’s why this fight is happening”.

 He additionally said  “For Conor, he chooses small guy, 170, and finally someone is gonna win,” He added, “Conor retires every day then comes back to Twitter, I don’t know.” Everyone is now anticipating the fight between McGregor and Chandler. Will the remarks of Islam Makhachev have any impact on the match? Everyone is expecting Chandler’s response.
